Pipilo is a unique Fediverse app where you browse posts in a horizontally scrolling timeline. It displays each post in the context of its conversation, with replies from people you follow. The result is an elegant, distraction-free interface that lets you follow various conversation threads with ease.

Key Features

  • Horizontally Scrolling Timeline: Each post takes full screen space and immediately displays all available details. Navigation between posts can be performed by horizontal swipe gesture or by using dedicated navigation buttons.
  • Clean Threads: Posts by default display under them only replies from followed people. Additional replies can be loaded after pressing expand button.
  • Threaded Replies View: Replies to a post form a threaded tree with vertical lines that connect each post with its parent.
  • Quote Posts: Mentioned posts are converted to full posts instead of links with all details immediately visible.
  • Link Preview Cards: Mentioned links are displayed as interactive cards with extracted page title and featured image.
  • Timelines Variety: Access home, local, and federated timelines, alongside followed hashtags and custom lists.
  • Quick Search Feature: Search for posts, hashtags, and users.
  • Full iPad Support: Configure multiple windows to display different timelines next to each other.
  • Content Variety: Support for content warnings, polls, images, videos, and alt-text descriptions.
